Maximum Zoom

Maximum Zoom is a camera app that lets you zoom far beyond the limits of your device's default camera. Android phones restrict zoom magnification to preserve image quality, but this app removes that constraint, enabling you to zoom 50×, 100×, 150×, 500×, 1000×, or 2000× magnification.

Understand how the zoom works: the app doesn't enhance your camera's optical capabilities. Instead, it crops the image your camera captures in real time, allowing deeper magnification than your standard camera app. As you zoom further, image quality naturally decreases—there's no way around that trade-off. But if you need to examine distant subjects or capture fine detail, Maximum Zoom gives you the reach to try.

Select the right lens for the job. If your device has a telephoto lens, use it for the sharpest zoomed results. You can also choose the main sensor, wide-angle camera, or front camera depending on your scene. A live thumbnail shows what the camera is focusing on, so you always know what you're framing when zooming in and out. Once you've found your shot, tap the capture button and the photo is saved.
